Organic by Sarah T.

Another Smallvile story. This time our two heros don't see each other, but Lex is taught something. Also see some of the author's thoughts on a relationship between Lex and Clark.

Quite an Extraordinary Boy by Brenda Antrim

The thing that makes this story so wonderful is that it ties in very closely to what happened in Smallville's pilot. I love that tense use of canon in this fic.

Echoes by Anna-Maria Jennings

Josh (from West Wing) and Dan (from Sports Night) are really, really good together. I liked it because it was long and gentle and easy, except for the inevitable problem, which they solved by actually talking to each other (with just a smidge of Authorial Intervention).

Price of Wisdom by Mad Poetess and James Walkswithwind

This is Harry Potter slash, but there's no incest (although this is the start of a series, and there's strong implication that there may be in future), no chanslash, and very little magic. There is BDSM.

I like this because it gives Percy Weasley a reason for being a wanker. And also, not being a wanker all of the time, which is good, too. And it shows the Weasley family being the sort of family one would like to have, although, if one had them, one would sometimes want to trade them all in for a secondhand car. Also, as one might expect of MP and James, it is very funny.

Possibility of a World by k

k writes these amazing stories that I almost never want to recommend because they end with a sort of general malaise of the banal. It ends and it's vaguely unhappy, or perhaps just discontented, because that's the way life works. However, in this story, things are bad in the middle, and happy at the end. I like that. I like that a lot. And Dan and Casey are very Dan and Casey.

Toy Story by Alanna

It's a Jim/Blair PWP. It's sexy. It's sexy with and without penetration. With and without toys. But pretty much always with a lot of lube.

When Last We Met by James Walkswithwind

This is a Xander/Graham Buffy story. I love this story. I wasn't expecting that, because I usually hate when pretty, minor characters are put into slash pairings. It annoys me for reasons I may explain elsewhere. In any case, the reason why Xander is attracted to someone with whom he never specifically exchanged words on the show is beautifully explained here. It both makes sense and adds immensely to the plot. I love it.
